Polytechnique Ventures

Polytechnique Ventures is the seed fund of Ecole Polytechnique, established in 2020 and financed by the Alumni. We accompany and invest in startups emerging from Ecole Polytechnique's innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Our mission is to identify companies that offer robust solutions to the challenges of transitioning to tomorrow's world. We support startups that originate from the Ecole Polytechnique ecosystem, whether founded by alumni, incubated at the school, or originating from its laboratories. Our investment strategy focuses on early-stage financing, co-investing with average initial tickets ranging from €250K to €500K in pre-seed and seed stages, followed by further investments in Series A (average ticket per company around €2.5m). We prioritize ambitious deep tech teams capable of transforming the industrial sectors they target. Our At Polytechnique Ventures, we uphold values of proximity, particularly with entrepreneurs and the Ecole Polytechnique community; experience through our Alumni network and the X community; and generosity from all stakeholders contributing to the community built around our fund.
